Escape The Money Trap

Welcome back, and thank you for engaging with us. If you missed our previous post about money slavery, you can read it HERE.

Do You Believe You Are Trapped By Money?

This question may be old, but it keeps resurfacing, suggesting that it remains unsolved: Are you enslaved by money? Are you sure? The answer might seem obvious, but take a moment to reflect on it—after all, not all slaves are bound by physical chains.

How Is Money Slavery Defined?

Being a slave to money means allowing the pursuit of wealth to dictate one’s life, often at the cost of personal well-being, happiness, and ethics. This situation indicates a lack of control, where money makes decisions instead of being a tool for a balanced life. As Leo Tolstoy observed, “Money is a new form of slavery… there is now no human relationship between master and slave.”

How Can You Tell If You Are a Slave to Money?

Money is meant to serve us, not control us, but many are stuck in the opposite cycle. To see if money controls you, reflect honestly on your relationship with it and its impact on your life.

Here are some important signs to consider:

  • You often prioritize money over your well-being, sacrificing health, sleep, self-care, and personal relationships for financial gain.
  • Your emotions and self-esteem are closely tied to your finances. You feel happy when earning or saving money, but worry and stress arise when money is tight.

  • Work-Life Imbalance: Your job takes up most of your time and energy, leaving little space for hobbies or relaxation, making work your primary identity.

  • Making unethical choices for money involves compromising values or integrity for financial gain, including dishonest behavior or morally questionable jobs.

  • You may struggle to enjoy the present because you're always worried about the future and saving money for it, even if your situation is stable.
  • Constantly desiring more money, no amount feels sufficient, and financial goals keep moving further away.

Keeping A Balance

If any of these signs apply to you, it could mean that money has taken over a significant role in your life. The goal is to view money as a means to improve your life, rather than allowing it to dictate your actions.

A decent life doesn't need excessive money. We often ruin happiness by chasing more and buying things to impress people who don't matter. Thanks for reading! Please share, subscribe, and follow for future updates.

Money Mastery Versus Slavery

Welcome back, and thank you for engaging with us. If this is your first time, you might find it useful to start by reading our previous post from HERE

Are You A Servant To Money Or Its Master?

Some people consider money to be the root of all evil. Some associate their happiness with it, while others feel worthless when they have little of it. Some are constantly pursuing it, while others have figured out how to be content with what they have. However, some are still struggling to understand it. Some say it makes the world go round and can buy happiness. In summary, there are many different perspectives on money, but we can all agree on one thing: it is essential for survival. Money is beneficial when it serves us, but if we become slaves to it, then it becomes a terrible master.

The Value Of Money

There are numerous complex reasons why personal finance remains a challenge for most people. However, some common factors are generally applicable to many individuals. Let’s take a moment to pause and reflect. Money doesn't speak or move; it is made from paper or metal. If it wasn't recognized as money, it wouldn't have any significant value. How is it that this object holds so much power? When I say power, I mean some individuals would give up everything to acquire it, sacrifice their mental well-being, and even resort to violence for it. Others use it as a tool for manipulation, and some even take their own lives after concluding they cannot continue without it. The list of its impacts is endless.

Power Over Humanity

The question that remains is: why does money hold such power over humanity, despite not being a living being? It only moves when someone else moves it, and it cannot act on its own unless instructed to do so. Can we conclude that the significance of money is more psychological? Is the concept of lack merely a state of mind? I'm curious, what are your current beliefs about money? Do you feel they are limiting or empowering? Lastly, if money were not a concern, would you still choose to continue with the work you currently do to earn a living?

Money Mastery

Money was designed to be our servant, not our master. When we put God first, we are declaring that God is our source, and He provides us with wisdom to make money work for us, instead of being enslaved by it. Stay tuned for our next publication, where we will delve deep into ways to regain your power. Your Dreams And Aspirations Are Still Valid!

Welcome back, and thank you for engaging with us. If this is your first time, you might find it useful to start by reading our previous post from HERE

Have you stopped dreaming and parked your dreams for when time allows? Do you remember how we used to dream freely while growing up as kids? What happened to those dreams? The most common answer to these questions is that "Life happened"...

Giving Up

Many people lose the spark of what God has placed in them. They settle for what life throws at them and forget their dreams, merely surviving instead of truly living. Do you know your true purpose in life? What lights up your eyes? Have you given up? Flexisol Hub is here to remind you that your dreams and aspirations are valid. As long as you still have breath, do not give up or let your dreams die!

The Graveyard

The harsh reality is that many people abandon their dreams. This can occur at any stage of life - some give up early, while others do so later. As we age, fatigue sets in, and rather than persevering, we choose to abandon our aspirations for good. It's truly disheartening when we allow our dreams to fade away, and sadly, this happens all too frequently and prematurely. Indeed, the graveyard is the wealthiest place on earth. The graveyard: Les Brown once called this place the richest place on earth! because of all the unrealized potential, unfinished inventions, and unfulfilled dreams. All the could haves, would haves, and should have been.

Taking Action

Let’s travel back to when you used to dream big and freely… As a young kid you believed you could fly and that the sky was the limit, you were carefree and full of life! Let’s rekindle, allow ourselves to dream again, and most importantly, overcome our fears and take action, talk is cheap, and dreaming is free the most critical step is to start!Thank you for reading, and please remember to share with your friends, subscribe, and follow us for notifications about future posts.

Welcome To Flexisol Hub

Welcome to Flexisol Hub, a platform that aims to inspire, inform, and empower individuals to reach their full potential, work towards time and financial freedom, and lead a purpose-driven life.

About Me.

I am Phathu Nemadodzi, the founder of Flexisol Hub. I am also a wife and a mother to three beautiful children. Professionally, I work as a Software QA engineer. I am a God-fearing person and I am passionate about living a life that is aligned with one's purpose.

How Did Flexisol Come About?

After working in the corporate world for more than 13 years, in the financial services industry, I eventually realized that I was grappling with an indescribable feeling I had long neglected.

I followed my usual routine for 13 years: wake up early, commute to work, get through the work day, commute back home, and then take on my responsibilities at home. Life seemed to be on autopilot, and this routine was starting to take a toll. Despite giving my best at work, I still felt stuck. I realized that we are slowly losing our purpose if we are not thriving. It felt like I was slowly losing myself and that's what led me to start Flexisol Hub and this blog.

Covid -19

After the pandemic, many people, including myself, discovered the benefits of working from home. Without commuting to the office, we avoided traffic and office politics. The global reset caused people to prioritize time over money and appreciate life more. During the pandemic, many had the opportunity to rediscover old passions or explore new ones. As things returned to normal, individuals faced a choice: go back to their old routine or pursue their dreams in the unknown world.

After COVID-19, I was fortunate to be able to work both in the corporate office and remotely. Working remotely gave me the flexibility to better manage my time and live a more balanced life. However, I couldn't shake the question of how I would respond if the management decided to switch to a hybrid working model or return to the office full-time.

After careful consideration, I've come to terms with the fact that I'm unwilling to return to my old way of working. This has led me to make the life-changing decision to pursue my passion and be intentional about the kind of life I want to lead. The freedom of remote work is something I cherish, and I've realized the possibilities it offers.
